EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based trauma therapy that helps your brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming or intrusive.

When trauma happens, memories can get “stuck” in the nervous system. EMDR helps the brain finish processing those experiences in a way that reduces emotional intensity and physical reactivity.

EMDR can help with:

  • Childhood trauma

  • CPTSD

  • Religious trauma

  • Disturbing memories

  • Anxiety and panic

  • Negative core beliefs like “I’m not enough” or “I’m not safe”

Clients often find that memories feel less charged, triggers decrease, and their sense of safety and self-worth increases over time.
